We have just 12 days till Nottdance launch and today we focus on another one of the beautiful venues for the festival, Nottingham Contemporary.

Nottingham Contemporary sits within the existing city skyline, nestled among the red brickwork of neighbouring Georgian townhouses,  based in the oldest site in the city – the site of a Saxon fort, a medieval town hall, and a late Victorian railway cutting.

Described by the Guardian as “the most inspiring gallery in the UK,” Nottingham Contemporary offers international art aimed at engaging everyone. Nottingham Contemporary will play host to five performances that will be part of Nottdance which include: SOFTLAMP.autonomies, Extended Hermeneutics, Thirst, No-How Generator and Slug Horizons.
